Dreams of El Dorado

Simple in its narrative, it is still powerful. The story is a tale told from the view of a thirteen-year-old boy who has been in trouble and wishes to escape punishment, but more than this, it is also about his quest for the legendary city of El Dorado that many adventurers before our hero have attempted and failed to find.
This could well be the first of many books that Talero writes, and as a first novel is exceptional. It was a rewarding experience to delve into the mind of this unique author through his story. Be prepared for a precarious and often emotional journey through the landscape of Colombia as well as a lone boy's heart.
