The horror and hurt of the assault ignites the awakening wildness inside me. I might not be an alpha - despite what people are calling me - but I'll protect this pack to my dying breath. My very soul demands it. Of course, my soul also demands that Cyrus is my mate. We've crashed together, our passion overwhelming us, but duty inevitably pulls him away. That leaves my soul achingly incomplete, despite the loving attention of my fated mates, Bishop and Knox. But I have no time to figure things out. The assassin who almost killed Bishop is still on the loose, Sterling is haunting my dreams again, and a darkness is growing inside me... ...a darkness that could save us all or destroy me and the men I love. Latif Omegas are meant to be kept like precious treasures. We are not meant to be strong all on our own. Thankfully, the humans are here to change things. Learning to fight and seeing the omega Devin able to hold his own against any alpha twice his size has lit a fire inside me. I don't need an alpha to be free. And it just so happens that the human alpha Blaine understands that. He does not want to become my lifemate, my alpha, my everything... Perhaps that is why, I am eager to cross every line with him. Blaine To say that I'm not a fan of Mukhana would be an understatement. Every time humans get involved with the nassa, it gets messy. But to be there for my friend, I'll do what I must. What starts as research about the omegas, has turned into an interest in one, in particular. Latif is bright-eyed, precocious, and determined to rebel with me. I know I should resist him. I know that we humans already have a bad track record of getting involved with the nassa but Latif is strong enough to know what he wants, and something about him draws out my carnal nature, and my desire to give him the world. Perhaps this is why omegas are usually kept away from alphas... The Alien's Defiant Omega is a lighthearted sci-fi m/m romance featuring a unique alien race, a universe-trotting professor-type man who has terrible self-control, and a rebellious alien omega who is determined to change the world. Note* For maximum understanding and enjoyment, the first two books in the series should be read first.

The purpose of this pamphlet is to educate the reader in the area of bullying behavior. Normally when people say bullying, they think of four types of participants. They are the bully, the victim, the follower, and the bystander. My assemblies place the greatest emphasis on participant number five, the leader. A leader is a person who quits being a bystander and performs an act of love for the victim. I have discovered from the students' letters as well as statements at the end of the assemblies that the only way bullying behavior is reduced or even eliminated is when the bystanders don't want it in their schools. As you read this pamphlet, picture yourself in your school auditorium. You are between 10 and 15 years old and one of the types of bully participants in every school. Are you a bully, a follower, a bystander, or a victim? I am making the assumption that the odds are great that you are not a leader. I was bullied in middle school. My story is captured in the pamphlet. I still remember being bullied like it happened yesterday. The pamphlet also shows the story of my son Curt being bullied in elementary and middle school. Perhaps these stories will remind you of the times spent in school.

Normal is Different is a powerful nonfiction story intertwined with a twist of fiction. It is about the close friendship between Dani, the main character, and her two best friends, Becca and Cammie. Each young lady is very different from the other and comes with her own baggage. None of the friends are perfect, but despite their different flaws, their love for one another keeps their bond strong. They are always there to support each other through good times and bad. Most people think that when they're young, they're invincible and feel like they're on top of the world where nothing can hurt them or bring them down. Dani is like the girl next door, yet there's something about her that makes her different and stand out from the rest. But even Dani had to find out the hard way that being young does not give you an automatic pass to forego the trials of life. She had to face some of the most excruciating, real-life events you could ever imagine. But, her friends make sure she doesn't suffer alone. Normal is Different is like no other book you will ever read! The author skillfully uses her words to weave this story and incorporates various circumstances and unimaginable challenges in the characters' lives. Most apparent, is that she reveals that everyone doesn't always have the "happy ending" the reader may expect. But by leaning on God, and through prayer and determination, the characters are able to overcome some of the most horrific situations. This book is a page-turner and has very entertaining characters! It will definitely make you laugh, cry, cheer, and shake your head in utter disbelief at the many challenges the characters face when life hits them hard. Get ready to hold on as you go along with the characters down the many, windy, and bumpy roads of life filled with unexpected treacherous turns. And just when you think you have figured out what will happen next, something else extraordinary occurs.

In fact, she isn't sure she believes in anything-except her own wits, her powers of observation and her pen. After covering antiwar demonstrations and political stories as an undergraduate at Columbia University, she talks her way into an assignment as a stringer for Newsweek and boards a plane bound for Saigon. She keeps her hair short and her shirts loose. In her right pocket she stows her notepad and a ballpoint pen; in the left, a pack of Marlboros that she empties every day. She also keeps a low profile, as much as she can as a young woman in an Asian war zone. People trust her: bar girls in the noisy clubs that line the teeming alleys of the city; shopkeepers; Navy lieutenants running river operations in the Delta; and South Vietnamese army officers who talk to her over a beer and a cigarette. She sees the war through their eyes, takes her notes back to the room she rents above a tea shop and types her stories. By 1975, Vietnam is under her skin. Her pulse beats to the singsong rhythm of its language. But in the mounting panic and confusion of impending loss as Saigon is about to fall, Mel knows it is time to go. But she also knows that she has one more story to write-a story that will change not only the lives of the thousands of children in Vietnamese orphanages who need to be rescued, but her own life as well.
