Keys are an important part of our lives. I once heard someone say that the more keys you hold, the more power you have. I don't know about that, but those keys give you access into locked places that keeps everyone else out. This book will reveal a mystery that, in my mind, will open the locked understanding of what Jesus was telling Peter in Matthew 16:19 when He said, "e;I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven"e;. There are two important words in what Jesus told Peter. They are "e;keys of"e;. Jesus was about to depart from earth through His crucifixion, death, and resurrection. He wanted to leave not only His disciples but all believers with tools or weapons to defeat the strategies of Satan. He delivered them to the disciples when He declared them to Peter. He said, "e;I will give you the keys of the Kingdom"e;. That is much different than "e;keys to the kingdom"e;. Jesus is the Key to the kingdom. But the keys of the kingdom are important to know.In this book, you will find five very important keys to fight in the spirit realm. The rest of the paragraph is fine. You may have known about them but putting these simple but extremely important tools in your toolbox will help you to live the life Jesus said in John 10:10. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.

In 1988 during the cold war, Alexandra on a singing tour to the Republic of Georgia, U.S.S.R., found herself transported through the Georgian music, to the fourth century A.D. in a mystical journey full of mystery, romance, martyrdom, and ultimate faith that brought Christianity to that country.Jean Marie Ivey lives in Maine, near Acadia National Park. She pursued a part-time career in photography, freelance writing and illustrating, and coauthoring the book Maine Paradise with Russell D. Butcher, published by Viking Press in 1972. She also published, co-wrote, and co-illustrated Facts and Fancy: Acadia National Park, Mount Desert Island in 1993, and published again in a revised updated version by Page Publishing in 2018. She wrote Cassie's Dream, published by Page Publishing in 2016. In the early eighties, Jean Marie began a thirty-three-year career at the Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor, Maine. Her greatest love, of course, is for her seven children, fourteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. A major love throughout her many years is music. She loves to sing. Jean Marie has sung and played hand bells in many of the churches in her area of Maine. She directed a folk choir for ten years in Seal Harbor, consisting of her children and many others, both young and old from the community. She traveled throughout New England with Norumbega Harmony, singing shaped note, sacred harp hymns written for pre-Revolutionary war congregational singing. In 1986, she joined the Surry Opera Company in Down East Maine. She toured with the company to the USSR during the cold war, singing in Leningrad, Moscow, the Republic of Georgia, and Japan. Her two trips to sing in the Republic of Georgia haunted her with the feeling that she had lived there before. That deja vu and her love for that country resulted in the creation of this book, The Vine and the Cross.

"e;A high-fantasy account of reality as seen by one of Satan's brothers, sure to appeal to lovers of both fantasy and Christian literature."e;-Kirkus Reviews"e;I, Jetebais becomes an almost revolutionary text. The book does not pretend to know or preach easy answers to life's struggles, nor offer comforting remarks on why evil exists. And in that alone lies the genius behind the fiction. Choosing to seek atonement for one's actions is a very personal journey fraught with self-doubt, fear, and mistrust. It is this experience which shapes who we are, and who we become. And as I, Jetebais shows, the cleansing and redemptive power of such a quest can rival that of any evil on earth, no matter how sinister. Fans of mythology and Christian writings will surely find something to love about Bishop's groundbreaking saga."e;-Pacific Book Awards

The book Chasing Dreams entails a unique story, though premised on a known maxim that life, in essence, is a bundle of aspirations and frustrations. Unlike most other literary commentaries, this story has no predominant character dictating the flow of events. Most major players in the story play prevailing roles when portraying their respective charisma, for that moment giving impressions about their respective dominant roles in the context of the story.Azeem's decision to join the Pakistan army against the inclination of his loving Dada-ji (grandfather), his following shattered dreams, and the denial of his career progression in the Bangladesh army were successive debacles. In pursuing life, Shafiq, the much younger cousin of Azeem, played a unique role and discharged his responsibilities, as per the teachings of Dada-ji, in fulfilling the desires of the Madrasah-educated but very rural Dada-ji concerning the family. The story revolves around Dada-ji and his love and care for his grandsons, Azeem and Shafiq, and his granddaughter, Julaikha. The uniqueness of the story is manifested in the love and support of the Pakistan army's Captain Riaz, the kindness and consideration shown by Babu Bijon Mohan Nag in trusting an unknown young Muslim man in the persona of Dada-ji, and the exceptional flexibility demonstrated by the dance teacher, Shibnath Bishwash, in accommodating Muslim Bijli and her grandma consequent to their home being gutted. Bijli portrayed the life and living of Jatra (a form of folk theater) party girls, was in love with Shafiq's father and youngest son of Dada-ji, Rakib, both to be victims of a boat capsize. The story epitomizes the death of Azeem, the brutal murder of his son, Fazal, in a paramilitary-armed revolt, and the kidnapping of his growing grandson, Ameen. In all variable situations, life was never abandoned, and Rukiya, the wife of Azeem, nurtured and carried the torch of family dreams. She upheld that while saying Khuda-Hafeez to a loving grandson on his way to a higher education abroad. Life moves on with new hopes and dreams.

Barbara Kammerer's dream job was being a teacher, impacting the lives of junior high kids so they could soar in life. Her dream became jeopardized after a fiery car crash left her with a severe burn injury. She found herself facing the public's reactions to her facial and body difference with constant stares and startled glances, intrusive questions and rude remarks. Her trauma began a life-long mission to develop skills to empower burn survivors and anyone with a facial difference to live successfully. In an age when the disabled and facially disfigured were shunned by societal norms, her advocacy paved the way for kids and adults to find their path back to life. Chasing My Dreams is the inspirational memoir of a gracious and beloved woman who quietly, but purposefully fought for those who needed to find their own voice.

A Roof Against the Rain tells the story of a 52 year old widow, Juliet Barnes, who, while adjusting to life on her own, begins a correspondence with Sam Duncan, a college professor renting her vacation home. Ironically, he cancels the rental because his wife also becomes fatally ill and dies within a few weeks. After many months of exchanging mutually supportive letters, they meet, and Juliet is aghast at his near-exact resemblance to her late husband, Paul. The book then explores her attempts to deal with this coincidence, the memories it awakens of her late husband, and her growing passion for Sam, who occupies his own place in her heart. She moves from Santa Monica, California, to Sun Valley, Idaho, meets different men, and sees her daughters, young women in their twenties, in addition to her twice-divorced best friend, involved in similar quests for meaningful relationships. Other settings include Malibu, Manzanillo, New Hampshire, and Paris. Some of the book''s themes are loss and recovery, the changes in sexual mores from her mother''s generation to Juliet''s, the possibilities for love and passion amongst survivors of grief, and the intricacies of friendships among women-particularly between mothers and daughters.
