In for a Bad Spell

I'm looking forward to a lazy summer full of long conversations with my man. But the scream that just ripped through the air gives me the feeling that destiny has different plans for me. My old magic professor is missing. That eccentric giant makes me look halfway normal, and he's gone and gotten himself kidnapped, or worse. The secret message he sent was hard to understand. It looks like we're up against the Guild of Eyes, and I'm so mad I can't see straight. Claudia thinks the best way to find Professor Ambrose is for her to go back into the GoE undercover, but I can't let her do that-it's too dangerous. Oscar thinks it may be our only shot. When the GoE kills one of our teachers and goes after Nyxie Bell, that is the final straw! I'm not playing it safe anymore. I'm either going to convince the Elders to help us or I'm storming into the Guild of Eyes headquarters by myself. Every move the GoE makes only fuels my determination. They are not taking my family from me. The only problem: I have to find them first. Strap in and hang on. We're stepping through a magic portal and right into the belly of the beast.
