Methods in Behavioral Research

The behavioral sciences investigate the cognitive processes that take place within living things and the behavioral interactions that take place between living things in the natural world. Naturalistic observation, controlled scientific experimentation, and mathematical modeling are all used to conduct a methodical analysis and investigation of human and animal behavior. Through rigorous formulations and observation, it aims to reach valid, objective conclusions.Examples of behavioral sciences include psychology, psychobiology, anthropology, economics, and cognitive science. In general, behavioral science has demonstrated how human action frequently attempts to generalize about human behavior in relation to society and its effect on society as a whole.
