Valentine's Day as a lovers' festival dates at least from the 14th century. While many people celebrate Valentine's Day in all kinds of different ways, it's no longer an official Catholic holiday-and unfortunately for all the romantics out there, it's not an official bank holiday or day off (though you can always take the day off for a special day with your significant other!).
Through my research, I found it is fine for Christians to celebrate Valentine's Day. This does not mean Christians have to celebrate it, but there is nothing wrong with celebrating it. If you are wary about celebrating it because of the celebration of Lupercalia,
