Tidigt lärande

Lärande är i sig ett väldigt enkelt ämne, det handlar trots allt om att lära. Sidan består till stor del av läroböcker för barnen för det är under de unga åren som vi lär oss som snabbast. Därför har vi tagit fram en fin samling böcker som går in och tittar på många av de olika områdena i livet, och det är naturligtvis inte begränsat enbart till de yngsta barnen. Vi har också läroböcker för unga, både om du skulle vilja bli bättre på att teckna eller om du vill lära dig grunderna i ett nytt och främmande språk. Hitta din nästa spännande resa här!

    The New Cambridge Shakespeare appeals to students worldwide for its up-to-date scholarship and emphasis on performance. The series features line-by-line commentaries and textual notes on the plays and poems. Introductions are regularly refreshed with accounts of new critical, stage and screen interpretations. This second edition of A Midsummer Night's Dream retains R. A. Foakes' text and has been extensively updated by him. In the Introduction to what is widely acknowledged as Shakespeare's most popular comedy, Foakes describes the two main traditions in the play's stage history, one emphasising charm and innocence, the other stressing darker suggestions of violence and sexuality. He shows that both are necessary to a full understanding of the play. For this edition the editor has added a new account of important theatrical productions and scholarly criticism on the play that have appeared in recent years. The reading list has also been revised and updated.

    av Jared Diamond
    170,-

    The Third Chimpanzee was first published in 1991 and has been in print ever since. This new, illustrated edition is aimed at a young readership. In it, Jared Diamond explores what makes us human and poses fascinating questions. If we share more than 98% of our DNA with chimpanzees, how is it that we can write, read, talk, build telescopes and bombs, while we put our speechless and bomb-less close relatives in cages and zoos? What can woodpeckers teach us about spacecraft? Is genocide a human invention? Why does extinction matter? Why are we destroying the natural resources on which we depend for survival? What hope is there for future generations? Not only is The Third Chimpanzee a mind-boggling survey of how we came to be, but it is also a plea to the next generation to "e;make better decisions than their parents and get us out of the mess we're in."e;
