Böcker av Astrid Lindgren

Den världsberömda och älskade författaren Astrid Lindgren föddes i Småland i Sverige år 1907. Bland hennes mest kända verk finns berättelserna om Pippi Långstrump, Bröderna Lejonhjärta och Ronja Rövardotter. Inspirerad av sin pappa, som Lindgren själv beskriver som en stor berättare, ägnade hon sig tidigt åt berättande. År 1944 gav hon ut sin första bok "Britt-Mari lättar sitt hjärta", vilket gav henne andraplatsen i en barnbokstävling. Därefter blev det många publikationer av stor betydelse i barnböckernas värld. Astrid Lindgren hittade oftast inspiration i sin egen uppväxt i Småland, varifrån naturen och miljön framträder i många av hennes böcker. Hon har satt sin prägel på litteraturens värld, med allt från deckare till idylliska berättelser samt berättelser om ensamma barn. Dessutom har hon publicerat ett flertal essäer, böcker för vuxna och teater- och filmmanus. Astrid Lindgren hade talang för att träffa barnets speciella humor, samtidigt som hon introducerade det till mörka ämnen som sorg, ondska och död. Det sägs att hon själv lyckats behålla barnet i sig hela livet. Astrid Lindgren är älskad av både barn och vuxna över hela världen. År 1958 fick hon den internationella H.C. Andersen-medaljen, som även kallas Nobelpriset i barnlitteratur. Dessutom har hennes böcker översatts till nästan 90 språk och sålts i över 100 miljoner exemplar. Ett 40-tal filmer är baserade på hennes böcker. Astrid Lindgren är en av de mest fantasifulla och populära barnboksförfattare som någonsin funnits. Förutom att ha fått en hel del fina utmärkelser har hon lyckats beröra otaliga barn- och vuxnas hjärtan genom tiderna.
