    av Willis G Major
    287

This Book was written in a funny manner to not only touch upon some old school ways but to also make us laugh, cry, and think about how some of the things we do impact kids, family, friends, neighbors, and society in general. Some stuff is made up and some stuff is just based upon what I have seen over the years. This book doesn't target any race because all races can be Ghetto. For Ghetto is not about Colors, Black, White, or Pink, but about how you act, how you live, and how you think. This book is not meant to disrespect anyone, it is just meant for laughs and to make you think so if I offend anyone please accept my apologies.

    av Basford Holmes

Unique puzzles. Lighthouse Battleships - a combination of the "Beacons" and "Sea Battle" puzzles. The game is a square or rectangular grid. Contains "beacons" - cells with numbers, meaning the total number of ship fragments in the same row and in the same column as the beacon. The cell with the number cannot contain a fragment of the ship. Ships cannot touch each other or beacons, even diagonally. The number of ships on the field: 1 ship per 4 cells, 2 ships per 3 cells, 3 ships per 2 cells, 4 ships per cell. On the fields 14x14 and above there is an additional ship for 5 cells. Sometimes some parts of the ship are already open. Yajilin may be called: "Boomerang," "Arrow Ring," "Straight and Arrow." The goal is to arrange the squares in black and draw a closed loop that does not intersect itself and which should not pass through the black cells and arrows. Black cells cannot touch vertically or horizontally. Numbers in the cells indicate the exact number of black cells. If the cell has the number 2 and an arrow pointing to the left, this means that there are 2 black cells in the row to the left of such a cell. When a cell does not contain an arrow and is not black, then it contains a loop segment. Cells with arrows do not count as black cells. There may be black cells on the field, which are not indicated by any of the arrows. Calcudoku - this is a mathematical and logical puzzle. It is necessary to fill the grid with numbers so that in each line and in each column they are not repeated. The number in the corner of each selected block is the result of an arithmetic operation on the digits in this block. The numbers inside the block can be repeated. The puzzle can be called Square Wisdom, Kendoku. Tridoku. The puzzle consists of nine large triangles. Each of them contains nine small triangles. Figures from 1 to 9 should be placed in the cells of each large triangle. The field contains additional lines, the cells of which must also contain non-repeating numbers. Two adjoining triangular cells should not contain the same numbers (even if the cells touch each other with only one point). + 250 sudokus difficult level that can be downloaded and printed. + 250 maze puzzles that can be downloaded and printed. Only 1 verified solution. All answers are at the end of the book. Exclusive puzzles. A link to the surprise is at the end of the book. An excellent book for free time and mind exploration. Ten years ago, I wrote a book entitled, Fighting the Effects of Gravity: A Bittersweet Journey into Middle Life which outlined the foibles of midlife. The book discussed such topics as presbyopia (the need for bifocals), mid-life sex, and a butt falling and not being able to get up. But now, having reached the ripe old age of 70, I find that my issues have increased tenfold. Eyes that required bifocals have developed cataracts, tears, and displacements. Knees that that just harbored arthritis require replacement, and dentures have entered the picture. Believe me folks, middle age is a nuisance, but Old Age Sucks.

Love ... Who needs it?I don't know if this just comes with age or what, but I'm less patient with my relationships, when I should probably be more patient. The first sign of any drama, no matter how sexually starved I happen to be, and I lose her number. Perhaps this makes me unpopular with the ladies. Maybe I'm getting a reputation.MehWhat I am hoping is that by reading my take on the whole mating game, you'll have a better appreciation for whatever predicament you're in, be that anything between marital bliss and been lovin' your fist.Karma Kicked MeSure, I'm bitter sometimes. Aren't you? How many times do you let karma kick you before you become jaded like me, and begin to expect it? So, you're pissed. He dumps you for a skank-hole. Go ahead and be hurt--that's natural. It's an ego slap. As you get older, you'll begin to take these more in stride. Sure, you'll complain about it to a friend, relative, or co-worker, but you'll get over it.Look at this book as my way of getting over it. A collection of irreverent, sarcastic, vulgar, crude, whatever-you-call-it essays containing my odd perception of life, which might actually lower my blood pressure by writing, and generate a giggle or two for the reader.WARNING: F-Word Used Over 160 TimesBefore we go any further, let me warn you that I love to cuss. F-ing love it. You're going to read plenty of bad words, so reading aloud is strongly discouraged, unless you're in church. Also, since I have taken certain liberties with our language, and I am a bit whiny and insensitive, I've decided to enhance this tome with--drum roll, please--recipes!Yay, Recipes!Cheers, my dears.

  • - A Satirical Look At How Government Impacts America
    av Vincent Yanez
    141

In addition to his books, author Vincent Yanez also spent time writing the occasional political piece for his local newspaper and various websites. By the end of 2012 he found he no longer enjoyed talking about a political system that seemed to be falling apart, mainly due to a group of politicians who gained power by using hate, fear and ignorance as their rally cry. Vince decided that instead of writing about politics, he would instead, make fun of it. This is a collection of those political satire pieces, which made their way around the internet in 2013, along with some cartoons he drew when the words wouldn't come. Vince no longer involves himself much in politics. But he does hope the American people will someday find the courage to their brains rather than fear or ignorance, and give D.C. what it has needed for a while now, a good cleaning out.

This is a book about Fibromyalgia, PCOS, abuse, bad weather, and wayward mailmen. It is also about doctors, role-playing games, conventions, public coughing, and glorious metal music. The story concentrates on several timelines during the childhood of a fictional boy in the Eastern Europe, few kilometers away from where the border with the Balkans area is taking shape. Although the distance doesn't matter hence the mentality, habits and places are very similar. The story concentrates on different timelines, without a fix point in time, an can variate from a young boy, around 3 years old until the maturity and beginning of the Faculty time. It's an immersive experience to describe how is the real life, with real stories and childish adventures, how the people are living and interact there, how it was the transition from communism to capitalism and how the life in all those periods. What has changed, what was the impact, a kind of concrete hands on experience in the Universe of a child that is living this with joy and enjoying any moment, regardless of the situations. It's a story where the main hero is just a normal boy presenting his colorful life, joy and fun around the people that he loves and shares his life with. But is also a story of sadness because it describes the small child missing his mother and how he was running always to meet her in the train station where he knew that she's always coming to him, without knowing she will be there or not. While reading from real stories, to weird and sometimes close to fictional, is to show that sometimes life beats the movies, that doesn't matter who we are, who we are sharing the life with, we will always come on top, learn new things and have some fun meanwhile. It's a lite story to read, to distract from the main stress in life, from any complications, just to enjoy reading and become one with the mind of a young child that is slowly discovering the world and happy to share his experience and places where he grew up.

Imagine picking up a book and reading the words inside, and as you read those words a picture forms in your head. Now imagine that picture represents the scenarios and circumstances described in this book. Now open your eyes and behold: you are holding the very book you just imagined. Also, this book is a great conversation starter. For example, say you are at a party and most of the guests are avoiding eye contact with you, and they keep muttering to one another that they really wish you would put on some pants; wouldn't it be great to be able to pull out a book, walk confidently up to a stranger and say, "I bet you didn't think I knew how to read!" Congratulations - you just started and ended a conversation as a winner.Above all else, this book will give you the means to own this book. When your friends, neighbors and spouses question whether or not you own this book, owning this book will be the final word on whether or not you own this book. Stop just being a person! Start being a person who owns this book!
