Think you''ve traipsed around every worthwhile destination the city has to offer? Think again. This is a handbook to London''s most perplexing points of interest and hidden corners: visit the Victorian mausoleum supposedly containing a time machine, go shopping for Viking supplies, get crafty at a squirrel taxidermy workshop and then enjoy dinner and a cowbell show at an ersatz alpine lodge. There''s plenty of weirdness in London. Lucky for you, we''ve sorted the best from the... better avoided. So come with curiosity and an open mind, and get ready for some shock, amusement and plain unusual intrigue.

I Will Pay to Make it Bigger is a novella and photobook by poet and visual artist Ahren Warner. Through text and image, the book searches for a way through a network of related subjects, ideas and feelings: the consumption of pleasure, freedom and hedonism; the purchase of feeling; the construction of (particularly male) identity as a cultural product, and the fragility of that construction; the fine, blurry lines between acquisition, enjoyment, love and desire, and the way any and all of these can be used to fill holes in our selves, even if only momentarily, and even if destructively. The book is also a work of both autofiction and docufiction. The photographs were produced during three months documenting 'party hostels' in Thailand. Yet, for all that these photographs might seem to exist as the documentation of 'moments', they are in fact quite painstakingly constructed: almost always beginning their lives as several still frames from film footage which have been composited and processed at length to reintroduce an artificial sense of movement, to become both a record of movement and hedonism, and a fictionalised artefact of impulse, drive and motion, that speaks directly, and on a level of materiality, to the concerns of the novella, whilst never illustrating, and only very rarely interacting directly, with the text itself.

Russ Williams was raised on Wales's stories, like the one about a mountain that would send you mad or turn you into a gifted poet if you camped out on it, the one about the lost civilisation drowned by the sea and the one about the bottomless lake leading down to the Welsh Otherworld. Stories of witches and giants and heroic kings, dragons and mad doctors, ghostly women, giant beaver monsters, vampire furniture and pirate-fighting monks. As entertaining as it is informative, Where the Folk follows Russ Williams as he travels in Griff, his creaky red Fiesta, in search of places associated with Wales's legends, folklore and urban myths. In this joyful travelogue, not only does Russ recount some of Wales's most interesting stories; he also explores the origins behind the myths, talking to experts and storytellers to find out how and why they might have come about, and what they tell us about Wales past and present.

A guidebook to 40 half and full day coastal walks in Andalucia. The graded routes, which are suitable for any reasonably fit walker, range from 6km to 19.5km and can be walked all year round. The walks are located in seven of the region's most beautiful National Parks and protected areas (including La Brena y las Marismas, Los Alcornocales y del Estrecho, La Sierra de las Nieves and Nijar-Cabo de Gata) and are mostly circular in nature, negating the need for any logistical legwork. Step-by-step route descriptions for each walk are accompanied by 1:50,000 mapping, together with information about points of interest en route. Also included is a useful glossary and route summary table, plus all the practical information needed to explore Andaluca's coast on foot - equipment, safety, when to go, refreshments, accommodation and more. The picturesque coastline of Andaluca is a walker's dream. Sandwiched between mountain and sea, walkers are rewarded with both dazzling mountain vistas and stunning seascapes. The sense of history embedded in these ancient coastal byways - which dates back to ages past - is an added delight, making the walking all the richer.
