Jan Walters has a family with five generations of men serving in law enforcement dating back to the late 1800s. Growing up, her grandmother told her stories about the police force, which became the foundation for the 'Ghost and a Cop' series. A horror film, Voodun, based on Hazzard Avenue, was completed in 2023. Jan has also written and produced a horror film, Lost Lake, in the summer of 2023.
