Love is born on a large farm in Hinckley, Ohio where she spends the first year of her life. She spends the first eleven years with a family that resides only a few miles from the place of her birth.She gets in one scrape after another in her new home.Her saving grace is her love for a young child and she becomes an accomplished and well traveled youth horse.She runs afoul of horse thieves and ends up thousand of miles from home.
