Böcker i British Railways Past & Present S.-serien

From the BRITISH RAILWAYS PAST AND PRESENT series, a collection of archive railway photographs from Avon, the Cotswolds and the Malverns, together with recent photographs of the same views.

Covers: Glasgow termini: Buchanan Street, Central, Queen Street and St Enoch; Glasgow suburbs and North Clydeside; The Callander and Oban line including the branches to Killin and Ballachulish; The West Highland line from Glasgow to Fort William; The West Highland Extension to Mallaig; and rails around the Trossachs.

Covering all the major bus and trolleybus operators in the South East and Anglian area, together with a few smaller companies, most of the pictures show the buses in pre-National Bus Company and Passenger Transport Executive liveries. The more than 150 photographs were taken between 1951 and 1978 and mostly have never been published.

Provides coverage of: Edinburgh and Leith; the East Coast Main Line and the Waverley Route; the Forth Bridge and East Fife; the West Fife and Clackmannan; and the West Lothian and Stirling to Hilton Junction.
