Dieses Buch beschäftigt sich mit der Frage, wie die ausgezeichnete normative Funktion, die unser vernünftiges Denken und Handeln normiert, ursprünglich konstituiert wird, indem es Husserls und Wittgensteins Spätphilosophie systematisch vergleicht.Jeweils in ihrer späten Phase interessierten sich sowohl Husserl als auch Wittgenstein für die Frage, auf welchem Fundament die Normativität der Logik und Mathematik fußt, diejenige Normativität also, die uns am meisten streng, daher grundlegend erscheint. Bei der Beantwortung dieser Frage haben beide recht ähnliche Programme entwickelt, nämlich einen Rückgang auf die vorwissenschaftlich-alltagspraktische Ebene, die Husserl mit dem Begriff der Lebenswelt und Wittgenstein mit dem der Lebensform erfasst. Dieser Rückgang ist in Wirklichkeit nichts anderes als der Versuch, die Konstitution der Normativität auf die Konstitution der Normalität zurückzuführen. Die entscheidende Frage lautet nun: Wie und wodurch wird Normalität konstituiert?Der Autor stellt detailliert dar, wie ähnlich, aber auch wie unterschiedlich Husserl und Wittgenstein diese Frage zu beantworten versuchen. Dabei wird auch gezeigt, wie die beiden Erklärungsmodelle einander produktiv ergänzen können.Das Verdienst dieses Buchs ist zweierlei: Es ist die erste philosophische Monografie, die das komplexe Verhältnis zwischen Normativität und Normalität systematisch untersucht. Every attempt to examine our consciousness¿s passive life and its dynamic in its various forms inevitably intersects with our primal awareness of the future. Even though Husserl¿s theory of time-consciousness enjoys a certain fame, his conception of our primordial relation to the future has not been adequately accounted for.The book at hand aims to offer a close study of Husserl¿s view of protentional consciousness and to trace its unique contribution to our overall awareness of time. It offers an extensive analysis of various aspects of protention by investigating its connection to different fields and levels of experience. To achieve such a task, the book stresses the need to enrich the familiar formal account of protention with a material one. Thus, alongside issues pertaining exclusively to the form of protention, such as its relation to fulfillment as well as its double-intentional structure, various other dimensions are discussed, such as the phenomena of disappointment and correction as well as the role hyle plays in both of them. In the same vein, special attention is given to the relation between protentional consciousness and affectivity, thus shedding light on the dynamic unity of our living-present.What this study purports to show is that Husserl¿s phenomenology is equipped to offer a solid account of the thinnest and subtlest ways in which we are aware of the future in our experiential life.

German:Die vorliegende Studie untersucht die Phänomenologie der Sinnbildung bei Marc Richir. Sie ist die erste in deutscher Sprache vorgelegte Untersuchung zu Richirs Versuch einer Neugründung der Phänomenologie. Dieser Versuch besteht zum einen in der Thematisierung der Phänomenalität der Phänomene als solcher und der Ausarbeitung eines Schematismus der Phänomenalisierung; zum anderen aus der Erweiterung der phänomenologisch-eidetischen Sphäre um die Dimension des Symbolischen. Diese Umgestaltung der phänomenologischen Architektonik führt zu einer umfangreichen Neubewertung phänomenologischer Grundbegriffe: transzendentales Bewusstsein, Zeitkonstitution, phänomenologisches Wesen, phänomenologische Reduktion und Epoché u. v. a. Besonders in der mittleren Schaffensperiode entsteht daraus eine Phänomenologie der Sinnbildung, deren Ziel es ist, das genetische ¿Abenteuer¿ des Sinns zu ergründen. Der Sinn ist gleichsam einer doppelten Gefahr ausgesetzt: einerseits sich in der Proteusartigkeit und Flüchtigkeit der aufkommenden Sinnregungen zu verlieren; andererseits sich im symbolischen Gestell der Stiftungen zu entfremden. Die These der vorliegenden Studie lautet, dass dieses doppelte Schweben der Sinnbildung in der Verschränkung verschiedener Zeitschematismen gründet. Das klassische immanente und prä-immanente Zeitbewusstsein verschränkt sich mit der Proto-Zeitigung und Proto-Räumlichung des Schematismus der Phänomenalisierung und den Zeitkategorien des Symbolischen. Die Integration dieser symbolischen Zeitkategorien ¿ Überstürzung, Wiederholung und Nachträglichkeit als Zeitigungsweisen des Nicht-Erscheinens ¿ in die Phänomenologie führt zu einer enormen Erweiterung der Dialog- und Anschlussfähigkeit derselben. The thesis of the present study is that in Richir, the double suspension of sense formation is grounded in the entanglement of different temporal schemata. Classical immanent and pre-immanent time consciousness intertwine with the proto-temporalization and proto-spatialization of the schematism of phenomenalization and the time categories of the symbolic. The integration of these symbolic time categories - precipitation, repetition, and retroactivity as modes of temporalization of non-appearance - into phenomenology leads to an enormous expansion of the latter's capability for dialogue and connection. This volume also assembles the theoretical contexts that motivate this transformation. In der kritischen Auseinandersetzung mit diesem wissenschaftstheoretischen Dualismus führt Husserl den Habitus-Begriff methodisch ein, um das Verhältnis von Natur- und Sozialontologie aus der konkreten Erfahrung heraus phänomenologisch neu zu deuten, womit der spätere, anti-dualistische Weg der Lebensweltphänomenologie vorbereitet wird.In Husserls Studien zur Regionalontologie des Gemeingeistes rückt das konkrete Subjekt in den Vordergrund der Intentionalitätsanalyse, indem die sinntragenden Elemente der Inaktualitität auf Habitualisierungsprozesse und die Intersubjektivität auf Sozialisierungsstufen zurückgeführt werden. Dank der durch den Habitus-Begriff ermöglichten klaren Unterscheidung zwischen konstituierender Aktualität und konstitutiver Relevanz des inaktuellen Horizonts kann Husserls Philosophie des Geistes als individualistisch und holistisch zugleich gelten. Dieser ontologischen Position entspricht auch Husserls sozialepistemologische Ansicht, dass sich Wissenschaften erst im Rahmen idealisierter Sozialstrukturen entfalten können. Durch diese idealisierenden Operationen wird die Konstitution der Objektivität möglich, welche die Wissenschaften anstreben. Deren Rationalität ist deshalb in ihren konkreten und idealisierten Sozialitätsstufen und Habitualitäten zu befragen.
