Kenelm is an Atheling, a prince of the Blood-Royal.A descendent of the god, Woden. His uncle is the King.Kenelm had thought to live his life as a warrior: fighting, feasting and marrying a beautiful princess.But his uncle gave him to a monastery, to live and die as a Christian monk.Kenelm feels betrayed but is bound by his oath of loyalty to his king.
