Dr Abdallah Al Khudair writes in these memoirs about his experience of being sent to the Comoros, a group of islands at the northern end of the Mozambique Channel of the Indian Ocean, between Madagascar and the southeast African mainland, and the only Muslim-majority country in Southern Africa. A raw and unorthodox memoir recounting the experience of a young Saudi man who spent four years teaching Arabic in the Comoros Islands off the east coast of Africa.
