Three Doctors... Praandaata Trayam is an attempt for readers to experience these beautiful shades of colours. This book tells the story of three doctors, each having their own stories. But many similarities can be drawn from the three stories. There is conflict in the similarities too. The light is thrown on the struggles of middle-class families and the efforts spewed by parents to make their children live a life much bigger than themselves and carry forward their unfulfilled dreams. There is a sheer dedication to fulfilling one's dreams and calling for moments of renunciation. But in the midst of all these, there is the light of victory. It is the struggles that build up the snowball effect until it rolls over and reaches the point of victory, surmounting all the obstacles. There is happiness derived from the joy of fulfilling one's parents' longing wishes. There are various exhilarating colours of life even beyond this. The duty to treat patients is spanned. The duty to revive the patient and get rid of all the complications is a satisfaction in itself. To instil demoralised people the lost will to live and the confidence to thrive brings a unique feeling of merriment. All the stories have their moments of success. It is the moments of struggles and hardships that emerge as the mantra to ignite the courage to face the ordeals. The book contains the stories of Muralidhar Reddy, the doctor of the brain, Bharata Reddy, the doctor of the heart, and Prasad, the doctor of the kidneys. The reason for writing the stories of these three is special and all of them are good friends. The friendship is indeed professional and displays the classic relationship between a doctor and a journalist.

अरविन्द यादव पत्रकार हैं। पिछले 23 सालों से पत्रकारिता के धर्म को बखूबी निभा रहे हैं। बतौर पत्रकार उन्होंने बहुत कुछ देखा, सुना और अनुभव किया है। बहुत कहा है और बहुत लिखा भी है। लेखनी के जरिये असत्य, अन्याय, भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ उनकी लड़ाई जारी है। समाज में दबे-कुचले लोगों के लिए संघर्ष ने उन्हें पत्रकारों की फौज में अलग पहचान दिलाई है। पिछले दो-तीन सालों से उनका ज्यादा ध्यान ऐसे लोगों के बारे में कहानियाँ/लेख लिखने पर है, जो देश-समाज में सकारात्मक क्रांति लाने में जुटे हैं। कामयाब लोगों के जीवन से जुड़े अलग-अलग पहलुओं को जानना और उन्हें लोगों के सामने लाने की कोशिश करना अब इनकी पहली पसंद है। वे देश और समाज में हो रहे अच्छे कार्यों को जन-जन तक पहुँचाने के पक्षधर हैं। अरविन्द साहित्यकार भी हैं। साहित्यिक कहानियाँ लिखते हैं। आलोचना में भी उनकी गहन दिलचस्पी है। हिन्दी आलोचना की वाचिक परंपरा के हिमायती हैं। हैदराबाद में जन्में और वहीं पले-बढ़े अरविंद की सारी शिक्षा भी हैदराबाद में ही हुई। विज्ञान, मनोविज्ञान और कानून का भी अध्ययन किया। वे दक्षिण भारत की राजनीति और संस्कृति के बड़े जानकार हैं। खबरों और कहानियों की खोज में कई गाँवों और शहरों का दौरा कर चुके हैं। यात्राओं का दौर थमने वाला भी नहीं है। एक पत्रकार के रूप में स्थापित, चर्चित और प्रसिद्ध हो चुके अरविन्द अब एक कहानीकार और जीवनीकार के रूप में भी ख्याति पा रहे हैं।

Do Stambh is a collection of articles written by renowned journalist and author Arvind Yadav from 1996 to 2002. When Arvind worked with Hindi Milap, he wrote two columns - Sanskritik Doorbeen and Campus. Sanskritik Doorbeen is a column based on arts and culture, whereas Campus is on education and educational activities. In these columns, Dr. Arvind covered many important issues and expressed his views freely.
