What motivated me to writeWhen I was in Primary Three, our teacher asked us to write about our holidayin December. I did not go anywhere or did anything because I only stayed at home helpingmy mother to peel "e; bean sprouts. "e;But while, I was doing so, my mind was making up a story about visitingmy Grandmother in Malacca and eating mangosteens in her garden and I let mangosteen sap run down my dress. The teacher liked the story and read it out to the class. The girls liked it too. Soo, I told myself I can write stories and make people happy.
