    Carol Kasser earned an Ed.D. in English Education from Temple University and taught English and ESL at the Community College of Philadelphia for twenty years. She is an ordained interfaith chaplain specializing in geriatrics. With Ann Silverman, she co-authored two textbooks, American Cultural Encounters, and Stories We Brought With Us. She is also the author of Manna For the Soul, a book on Jewish spirituality. Carol enjoys swimming, writing, and traveling. She spends as much time as possible with her family, her husband Harris, her children Robert, Jodie, and Stacy and her five grandchildren, Hunter, Nicholas, Dylan, Logan, and Kayla. They provided the inspiration for most of these stories.
