This collection of my previously published papers has been assembled for the convenience of readers who may wish to have in one place what I consider to be my most important articles on Buddhist ethics. Apart from its convenience, the collection could also serve as a reader accompanying a course on Buddhism ethics. The topics covered range across a wide field, from the theoretical nature of Buddhist ethics to human rights, violence, and issues in bioethics such as abortion and euthanasia.
