A murder in the suburbs causes disorder when tolerance, understanding, and traditional values are questioned. Lebanese-American Ava Makari was an above-average college sophomore with big dreams. When the former high school football star initially accused of her murder is released from custody for lack of evidence, Detective Richard Pringle, a former Brooklyn policeman, reopens the case.
