Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, einen Beitrag zur Systematisierung des Entscheidungsfindungsprozesses in der chilenischen Risikokapitalbranche zu leisten, indem mittels ökonometrischer Analyse die leistungsbestimmenden Faktoren von Start-ups in frühen Entwicklungsphasen ermittelt werden. Eine Anwendung der Ergebnisse dieser Analyse wird anhand eines Monte-Carlo-Balanced-Scorecard-Ranglistenmodells mit Anwendungen in der Projektauswahl gezeigt.

O objetivo desta tese é contribuir para a sistematização do processo de tomada de decisão na indústria chilena de capital de risco, através da identificação de determinantes do desempenho de startups em fases iniciais de desenvolvimento, por meio de análise econométrica. Uma aplicação dos resultados desta análise é mostrada através de um modelo de classificação do tipo Monte Carlo-Balanced Scorecard com aplicações na seleção de projectos.

The objective of this title work is to contribute to the systematization of the decision making process in the Chilean venture capital industry, through the identification of determinants of performance of startups in early stages of development, by means of econometric analysis. An application of the results of this analysis is shown through a Monte Carlo-Balanced Scorecard type ranking model with applications in project selection.

L'obiettivo di questa tesi è quello di contribuire alla sistematizzazione del processo decisionale nell'industria cilena del venture capital, attraverso l'identificazione delle determinanti della performance delle startup nelle prime fasi di sviluppo, per mezzo di un'analisi econometrica. Un'applicazione dei risultati di questa analisi è mostrata attraverso un modello di ranking di tipo Monte Carlo-Balanced Scorecard con applicazioni nella selezione dei progetti.

L'objectif de cette thèse est de contribuer à la systématisation du processus de prise de décision dans l'industrie chilienne du capital-risque, par l'identification des déterminants de la performance des startups dans les premières phases de développement, au moyen d'une analyse économétrique. Une application des résultats de cette analyse est montrée à travers un modèle de classement de type Monte Carlo-Balanced Scorecard avec des applications dans la sélection de projets.
