A life of spiritual experiences that would shake one to the core, abuse and trauma that would destroy most people--and yet she battled on. She spent a lifetime hiding her pain and the trauma inflicted upon her. She lied and omitted information to keep a marriage together, to retain a job, and to hold on to a shred of dignity, over and over again. The lies she told herself were the most damaging. Lies like "If they know what happened to me, they'll disown me"; "They'll never love me"; "I am unlovable"; and so many more. These things she omitted were no little incidents. Many years later, her understanding and self-love grew. It is a feat, considering all that she had experienced in such a colorful life.
