It is not a book on, or about, religion -that's best left to experts. It's not for "mature" Christians -who will, no doubt, find it extremely lacking -perhaps completely "falling short of the mark". It is simply intended to assist three groups who are open to pursuing the Christian path: a) non-believers, b) pseudo-believers and c) believers with limited historical knowledge and/or context. It's about creating communities of kinship as the foundation for a strong Christian life

Our Solution to the problem of Recidivism: We are 100% outcome-oriented. We do not seek government grants. Like any real business, we deliver services that people will pay for. We seek to reduce criminal behavior. Common-sense (and the major studies) make clear that the best way to reduce criminal behavior is through career-employment that is stable, meaningful and at a livable wage (Boom!). Recidivism almost always occurs in people who don't have the skills to obtain (or retain) career-employment they are passionate about. In 2011, taking the lessons learned in California prisons, we started with a simple proposition: Help them learn marketable skills!Knowing that "amateurs teach amateurs to be amateurs", we looked for the best coaches, mentors, consultants, and advisors. We were blessed when, perhaps the ideal key people to help tackle the problem appeared (see inside)

The ability to memorize what we read is essential; the ability to recite what we've memorized distinguishes us from our peers. This book provides the poems and speeches of traditional American culture, the materials we should know in order help us along our path to create a life of meaning and purpose.

This is a neuroscience-oriented brainsmart program designed to help struggling, yet motivated, adults (especially those in prison) learn the tools and techniques for success (i.e. the skills needed to obtain stable and meaningful employment).Students learn the fundamentals of how the brain works in order to answer two questions: 1) Who am I? and, 2) Why do I behave as I do? --The goal is to ""dial-in"" who one needs to be in the moment. This program has been taught in Nevada State prisons and to Nevada inmates since 2013.
