Überschwemmungen in Brasilien treten immer häufiger und intensiver auf und stellen eine Herausforderung für die Bevölkerung und die Behörden dar, die mit ökologischen, sozialen und technischen Hindernissen konfrontiert sind, wenn sie versuchen, die Auswirkungen zu verringern. In Brasilien sind viele Menschen anfälligen Bedingungen ausgesetzt, die die Auswirkungen von Überschwemmungen verstärken und soziale, ökologische, politische, wirtschaftliche und kulturelle Aspekte miteinander verbinden. Diese Besonderheit von Überschwemmungen in anfälligen Kontexten macht es schwierig, bei dieser Art von Ereignissen das Natürliche vom Sozialen zu trennen. Ich widme diese Arbeit allen Familien, Männern und Frauen, Kindern und Jugendlichen, die durch die Überschwemmungen ihre Angehörigen, ihre Häuser, ihr Hab und Gut und ihr psychisches und materielles Wohlergehen verloren haben. Ich hoffe, dass all das Leid, das sie erfahren haben, als Ansporn für eine weltweite Mobilisierung zur Rettung der Solidarität, der menschlichen Ethik und der ökologisch-nachhaltigen Entwicklung unseres Planeten dienen wird.

Floods in Brazil are becoming increasingly frequent and intense, posing a challenge to populations and government officials who are facing environmental, social and technical obstacles in an attempt to reduce their impact. Many people in Brazil are exposed to conditions of vulnerability that increase the impact of floods, combining social, environmental, political, economic and cultural aspects. This characteristic of floods in vulnerable contexts makes it difficult to separate what is natural from what is social in this type of event. I dedicate this work to all the families, men and women, children and young people who have lost their relatives, their homes, their belongings and their well-being, both psychological and material, due to the floods. I hope that all the suffering they have experienced will serve as an incentive for a worldwide mobilization to rescue solidarity, human ethics and the eco-sustainable development of our planet.

Les inondations au Brésil sont de plus en plus fréquentes et intenses, ce qui pose un défi aux populations et aux responsables gouvernementaux qui doivent faire face à des obstacles environnementaux, sociaux et techniques pour tenter de réduire leur impact. Au Brésil, de nombreuses personnes sont exposées à des conditions de vulnérabilité qui augmentent l'impact des inondations, combinant des aspects sociaux, environnementaux, politiques, économiques et culturels. Cette caractéristique des inondations dans des contextes vulnérables fait qu'il est difficile de séparer ce qui est naturel de ce qui est social dans ce type d'événement. Je dédie ce travail à toutes les familles, hommes et femmes, enfants et jeunes qui ont perdu leurs proches, leurs maisons, leurs biens et leur bien-être, tant psychologique que matériel, à cause des inondations. J'espère que toutes les souffrances qu'ils ont vécues serviront d'incitation à une mobilisation mondiale pour sauver la solidarité, l'éthique humaine et le développement éco-durable de notre planète.

Le alluvioni in Brasile stanno diventando sempre più frequenti e intense, ponendo una sfida alle popolazioni e ai funzionari governativi che devono affrontare ostacoli ambientali, sociali e tecnici nel tentativo di ridurne l'impatto. In Brasile, molte persone sono esposte a condizioni di vulnerabilità che aumentano l'impatto delle alluvioni, combinando aspetti sociali, ambientali, politici, economici e culturali. Questa caratteristica delle alluvioni in contesti vulnerabili rende difficile separare ciò che è naturale da ciò che è sociale in questo tipo di eventi. Dedico questo lavoro a tutte le famiglie, uomini e donne, bambini e giovani che hanno perso i loro parenti, le loro case, i loro beni e il loro benessere, sia psicologico che materiale, a causa delle alluvioni. Spero che tutte le sofferenze vissute servano da stimolo per una mobilitazione mondiale in soccorso della solidarietà, dell'etica umana e dello sviluppo ecosostenibile del nostro pianeta.
