Endeavoring to awaken, he finds himself tied to a piece of something. Confused, he realizes he's floating among what looks like debris from a ship. "Where am I? More importantly, who am I?"As he pulls debris from the water to build a safer raft, he spots a large fin heading for him. His first thoughts are shark! His expression contorts in terror. Struggling with all his might, he attempts to get higher out of the water, away from the beast.Suddenly, another large object rams the shark, chasing the predator away. Out of the drink pops a dolphin, who splashes him, calling to him, "Yak, yak, yak!" The dolphin continues to assist him by pushing large items toward him to enable him to build the craft. He realizes he is caught in one of the ocean currents. He has no idea where, though, so taking advantage of this, he lets the raft float along. The dolphin leaves but returns the next day. In fact, she returns every day as he continues along.Plagued by storms and nightmares, he drifts along in the current, trying to make out what the dreams mean. Each day, he searches for-hoping for land.
