Mentorship provides meaningful connections that impact people's lives at home, at work, and in communities. Mentorship is most valuable for children, and this book highlights the importance of having a mentor at a young age and provides guidance on identifying a mentor and where to find one.

Dancing Luna is about a girl who learns that she is dyslexic, a learning disability that causes difficulty in reading and interpreting words and letters. Luna wants to be a dancer like her older sister, but in order to take dance classes, she has to get good grades.

Students at Bell Gardens Elementary School learned about the Great Depression in their history class and soon found out that the history book does not mention Mexican Americans. It did not mention the people who look like them. Curious about the topic, the students began to research. They created plays and book reports to present to students and teachers at school. One day, they enter the contest 'There Ought to Be a Law' hosted by Assemblymember Cristina Garcia, who soon helps the students change the law in California encouraging teachers in public schools to teach about the Mexican Repatriation during the Great Depression.

ABC: Now I Know Common Disabilities is a book that highlights common disabilities that children would encounter in their schools and communities. The purpose of the book is to bring awareness about the different types of common disabilities and promote inclusion.
