These poems span over a 4-year period, reflecting the perspectives of a teenager navigating a global pandemic, anxiety, love, and yes, heartbreak. Poetry became an outlet to channel her emotions, her joy, her pain and her own healing. With honesty and hope, we witness her evolution and growth, as she overcomes her first heartbreak, finding love for herself and the journey itself, in "There Will be Days Worth Living For".

Denmark is a senior in high school, trying to balance it all: school, job, social life, family. But her recent persistent nightmares are making that increasingly difficult for her to do. She soon meets new guy, Michael, who is intrigued by Denmark's dreams. Her dreams become blurred with reality, as the new friends seek to solve the truth behind a local girl's death.
