Fractured rock domains have received increasing attention not only in reservoir engineering and hydrology, but also in connection with geological isolation of radioactive waste. This work attempt to address the issues of the transport of mass of fluid phases in single and multiphase flow, and heat transport and mass transport of components.

Groundwater resources are under increasing threat from growing demand, wasteful use, and contamination. Here, conceptual and mathematical models are provided that will help decision-making on the management and remediation of groundwater resources.
