"You're either a foolhardy maniac or a more than capable liar. Either way, you sound eminently suited for this kind of work."When penniless Londoner Christopher lands a job in tourism as a tour manager, with zero qualifications, he quickly realises he has bitten off more than he can chew. Leading a coach tour of 25 people he's never met - including a team of American football players - to where? You mean Ruritania actually exists? But things start to look up when he meets the local tour guide - the beautiful Rose. He tries desperately hard not to, but damn, he falls in love, which makes things complicated.Alarmingly, he discovers that Rose is engaged - against her will - to the playboy son of a dangerous local oligarch. Incredibly, it also turns out that she's the distant heir to Ruritania's long-lost throne, an institution that the Ruritanian government seems hell-bent on restoring. What's a boy to do? A beautiful princess? A vacant throne? But the throne is the last thing she wants, along with the oligarch's son - but she's trapped. While Christopher desperately tries to prevent their wedding taking place, the Ruritanians get it into their heads that he is out to claim the crown for himself. And there's one person above all who cannot let that happen - the oligarch's terrorising teenage daughter. Can Christopher save Rose from her tragic destiny - and a future sister-in-law from hell - before it's too late for both of them? For fans of Nick Spalding, Rich Amooi, and 'The Prisoner of Zenda'.

50 More Stories and Songs is a continuation of Rev. James D. Wood's delightful memoir, This Is My Story, This Is My Song. Remembering other "forgotten events" in his life, Reverend Wood writes about them and concludes each story with resonating words from a hymn. Readers will find these additional stories to be charming and engaging. Reverend Wood has served nine congregations during his fifty years with the United Methodist Church. Previously, he served in the US Navy and with the Port District of San Diego as a civil engineering draftsman. In ministry though, Reverend Wood discovered life to be even more meaningful and adventurous than he ever imagined. He is married to Martha, herself the author of Out of My Mind, has three children, seven grandchildren, and three great-granddaughters. They have lived in Arizona for the past forty-four years and currently reside in Sun Lakes, Arizona.
