These organizations, including Boko Haram, al Qaeda, and other terror groups, have metastasized and present a serious threat to regional stability.

This study looks at how religious authority and the state interact in six African countries: Kenya, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, and Uganda.
