Atlanta is a citythat has been built and destroyed several times over, leaving behind comparatively few traces of its ownpast despite its status as the cradle of the Civil RightsMovement and a progressive bubble amidst a ruraland mostly conservative part of the country. As thecity continues to struggle against the backdrop ofhistory, it seeks to rebrand itself as a global mecca fornew wealth, Hollywood production and opportunity.
