This is a different kind of life story. My husband and I married right after college, and when he was diagnosed with cancer, I eventually found it hard to know what to say or do to chase the clouds away. With mortality staring me in the face, I realized there were things I wanted to share about us and the family before it was too late. So I dived into writing about what stood out in memory.
