Necromancer Benedict Dule's morning was completely upended when a spirit of a young woman appeared in his bookshop. Emma was particularly insistent that he find a way to get a note to her brother, claiming the man who killed her was her brother's lover. Unable to resist Emma's persistence, Benedict finds a way to get a note to the man concerned and notches that up as his good deed for the day. Little did he know how much that simple note would change life as he knew it. Bear shifter, Dixon Cottle was having a crap-fest of a day, starting with a phone call from a stranger letting him know his sister had been in an accident. Surrounded by humans, on a busy city street, Dixon had no way of tracking the killer or doing anything at all to help his dead sister, except let the police handle the case in their own way. Until one of the officers handed him a note, and suddenly Dixon had clues... he just wasn't sure what to do with them. Sometimes it doesn't pay to get out of bed in the morning, as Benedict and Dixon soon learn. Despite help from unlikely quarters, a monster evolves before their eyes. When the dead start rattling their bones under the streets of San Francisco, the intrepid pair might find they have bitten off more than they can chew. While this story is a Fated Mates book, it is also a slow burn for obvious reasons. Benedict and Bear is part one in a three book trilogy and while the plot lines in this part are resolved, the book does end with a lead into book 2.This story was originally written as a serial for my Patreon members. Thank you my lovely friends.

"I would never hurt you... Please don't flinch like that. You need to come with me, that's all, and for that I need to touch you."Hellhound Faron wasn't expecting anything when he went to his local diner for a meal before heading home. He might have privately hoped that he could catch sight of his favorite chef, Patrick, but the food was worth eating anyway. What he doesn't expect, when he's finished his meal, was to find Patrick sitting in a rusty truck at the back of the diner parking lot, with tears and bruises covering his face. Faron had to do something. "...when I went to get out of the truck, the coma kicked in. This is all a coma-induced dream. It's amazing."Patrick Duncan didn't expect his favorite hottie from the diner to find him crying in a rusty truck, and he definitely didn't expect to collapse in a coma-dream straight afterward. But that had to have been what had happened to him. How else could he find himself in Scotland, having a wonderful meal and being taken on a walk to find a magical tree? Dreams quickly became reality and Patrick has a lot of adjustments to make, finding out he's the mate of a hellhound. Shadow puppies aside, Faron still wants to deal with the man responsible for Patrick's bruises. Unfortunately, that wasn't as easy as it sounded. And what was the message Patrick's dead Mom trying to send Patrick in relation to his magic? Magic that Patrick didn't think he even had. As with all of my stories, your HEA is guaranteed. It's not imperative to read the other books in this series before this one, but it helps to get a handle on the secondary characters that populate these pages.#MMparanormalromance #MMFatedMates #MMHellhounds #Hellhoundcollarseries

Wyatt, omega wolf, has been on the run from a forced mating for three years; living hand to mouth, doing his best to raise his four-year-old sister, Maddie. Always watching over his shoulder, scared to interact with anyone, he has no idea how much his life will change when a stranger knocks on his door during a summer storm. But Wyatt's past isn't about to let him go and when the council gets involved, Stone must do his best to protect the man who stole his heart and the sweet little girl who calls him Uncle. After all, if you can't stand the heat....This is a short standalone story in my Alpha and Omega universe. 21,700 words. "I have watched you from afar for so long. 'Tis only fitting, as I breathe my last, that I do it in the arms I've longed to feel around my person for two plus years or more." Rojan Purchanting, Pirate Captain, and half-brother to the King of Gunkermal didn't mean to blurt out fateful words as he stumbled into Petrov after a disagreement with a knife. But the Goddess of the Moon and Sea works in mysterious ways. Rojan soon found Petrov following him out of castle windows, into houses of ill-repute, and riding beside him as they chase down the threats to Caspian and Nikolas, still bristling with the innate confidence and protectiveness that had caught Rojan's eyes years before. "I'm going to work on keeping the foolhardy man alive first. Anything else we'll count as a bonus." Petrov, Duke of Moorland has been a confidant and friend to King Consort Nikolas for most of his life. He really didn't need to be following around Caspian's half-brother, hoping the fool man wouldn't get himself into more trouble. But somehow, it quickly became all he wanted to do. It's the only thing left I can do. Determined to keep Rojan safe by any means possible, Petrov decides the only way to do that is to enter into a Marriage Contract with him. But as the danger to Caspian and Nikolas gets closer to home, Petrov wonders if he'll ever know the true Rojan Purchanting. Would he be pirate captain, prince, or king? While most of the books in my Another Arranged Marriage series can be read as standalones, readers will understand more about the motives of the secondary characters and main plot points if they have read The Infidelity Clause first. #MMFantasyRomance #MMArrangedMarriages

Fenrir, ancient Norse god of wolf shifters, has had more centuries than he could count to become set in his ways. Can a cute little cat shifter from Vegas make him want to change them? "Oh, no, oh, no, oh, no. I think I might have just punched my mate in his furry face. I'm so sorry." Dorian was on a great adventure in Montana when his campervan runs out of gas, and he finds himself stranded in the middle of nowhere. He didn't expect to find a wolf, he didn't anticipate hitting said wolf who had startled the living daylights out of him, and he definitely wasn't prepared for when that same wolf just disappeared. "It can't be true. It just can't be true." Fenrir was the first to admit he was set in his ways. It's what made him dependable, reliable, and comfortable. He saw no need to change his ways, even after his pack deserted him. Coming across a cat shifter was a mild excitement in his day, but that didn't mean he had to claim the man. The Fates work in mysterious ways, but not even they were prepared for how stubborn Fenrir could be. It could take the efforts of Loki and Anubis, plus a spot of advice from Claude and Poseidon, to get these two on the path of Fated Mate happiness. #MMFatedMates, #MMTheGodsMadeMeDoIt #MMparanormalromance This story was written for a mature audience. Hybrid shifter Cyrus was really happy in his life. He'd seen the dark side of life, and was content to fix cars and small motors in his rural workshop. His animal sides had plenty of space to run around during his down time, and there was a bakery next door to the workshop. A man didn't need much else in life. Until a car stopped in for a quick fix, and Cyrus caught the scent of something he never dreamed he'd find... his fated mate. Shame it wasn't the driver of the car, but then when was life ever easy? Assassin demon Python was seriously thinking about going back to the Underworld. His job was a good one, and he had clearance for it from the Underworld Office, but even Lord Hades had no idea how much Python missed being with his friends and family. Still, a job was a job, and he had made friends with his fellow assassins quickly enough. But while checking his car, after his PA was late picking him up, Python caught a sniff of the impossible on his leather seats. Maybe the Underworld could wait for a while. Cyrus and Python were both happy with Fates' choice for them, but other people weren't so pleased. Lord Hades can't work out why Python isn't doing his job, and there's another man who'd do anything to see Cyrus out of Python's life completely. Will they find peace in Assassin's Alley, or does the Fates have a different future in mind for these two? Not That Kind of Demon is the first book in a new series, although it can be read as a standalone as each new book in the series will focus on a different couple. Determined to do more than hide out in Arrowtown, Lion shifter Hal Lamont decides to head out on a road trip. Armed with his speech app, enough pens and papers to sink a battleship, and a deep desire to find his long lost confidence, he sets out, planning a short stay in Jackson before seeing where the open road will take him. But a random night out in the predominantly human town changes his world in a way he doesn't imagine - and not necessarily for the better. Blade Morgan was a shark shifter, but he didn't see why it should stop him making a success of the casino he had been operating in Jackson. Unfortunately, the local council see things differently. One night, while doing his best to keep patrons happy, he sees the haunted yet amused eyes of a shifter as the man was heading out the door. Blade was compelled to give chase - and got more than he bargained for. Surprisingly communication was one of the easiest hurdles in Hal's and Blade's new mating. But between the local council, a woman hellbent on revenge, and a shooter who missed his target, the start to their new life together wasn't easy. Keep an eye out for a Jaws-fixated waiter, a Fae who finds Hal's phone at just the right time, and some grumpiness from Doc among others. Hal's Silence is an MM Paranormal Romance story featuring Fated Mates. It was written for mature audiences. Please store your e-content responsibly. This book can be read as a standalone, but you will get more understanding of the secondary characters and more details on how Hal lost his tongue, if you read Liam's Lament (Book 3) first.

Hellhounds who love scritches, a hellhound baby who's as adorable as he is menacing, a special tree with beautiful buds, and Lord Hades in a pale pink shirt. This story has everything to make you smile. Hellhound Cain was beyond frustrated. He couldn't even visit his pack mate in New York without some curly headed blond following him around. It wouldn't be so bad, but every time Cain tried to talk to him and ask him why he was being stalked, the man just disappeared. Which was a shame because the blond was cute... Oliver Jackson, known as Ollie, didn't know why he had to keep following the mystery man all over the place. He got a stomachache if he tried to stay away, and his magic insisted on translocating him to where the unusual stranger was. But then, one day, an amazing dog with flame-filled eyes sniffed at the tree he was hiding in, and Ollie's life changed forever. Elven swords, magical summons, and even a meeting with Death himself - life was anything but smooth sailing for Cain and his new mate. Pack mate Beau was on the verge of a nervous breakdown as his and Blue's baby was due any day and that just added to the tension. Reading Precious Blue (Hellhound Collar series #2) will help readers better understand the secondary characters, but this one can be read as a standalone. The story is a complete HEA, with no cliffhangers, although the Epilogue sets the scene for the following book in the series, involving a different couple. #MMParanormalRomance #mpreg #HellhoundCollarSeries

Michael is charged with protecting the Lord of the Underworld, but at what cost to him and Orobas? And is their relationship even important if Lucifer and Gabriel are taken down? • - A Quirk of Fates Short Story - MM Fated Mates
    av Lisa Oliver
    146,-

Moses lived from moment to moment. He had no past and his future was always in doubt. Living in the moment was his only means of survival. Until a biker with a sense of 'other' walks into the bar where he works and changes his world forever. Moses, no last name because a slave didn't deserve one, moved through one moment to the next in full survival mode. His owner, Conrad, called him Frog and even shaved his head so he'd look like one. Moses spent his day serving at the bar, making chicken wings and burgers, and then cleaning every night when Conrad locked him in once the bar was closed. Dwelling on his past brought Moses no joy, and Conrad had already told him he had no future. All Moses could do was appreciate flashes of joy while trying to avoid the fists that often came his way. Tucker, no last name because he was an alpha wolf and didn't need one, was getting tired of his restless animal half dragging him across state boundaries in an endless quest to find his fated mate. Striding into a bar in a place called Dusty Dew of all things, all Tucker hoped for was a cold beer and hot wings. What he got was so much more. He just didn't realize he was going to have to rescue the prize he'd been looking for. Torn between avenging the injustices Moses had suffered and keeping his mate safe, Tucker did what he had to do. But the journey home wasn't without problems and Tucker was determined Moses would be safe before he was claimed.Saving Moses is a Quirk of Fates short book. It's where I have two men in their head that want to be together, but they don't want to go through a long story arc to get there either. As Tucker said, "we're fated mates. The rest should be easy." So here you go - Tucker and Moses story, in short form. Enjoy. As with all of my books, Saving Moses is about two men who will come to love each other. There is some on page violence, coarse language, and an intimate scene (Just the one because this is a short). There is also a taciturn alpha, a wonderful omega who lives in the moment, and a few friends to help make things happen. Oh, and a trip to Las Vegas. This story is completely standalone and is roughly 27,000 words.

  • - Another MM arranged marriages between a King and Prince
    av Lisa Oliver
    290,-

The only goal Prince Syrius Fortune of Rosenhip had during his twin sister's "meet the suitors" ball, was to stay quiet and out of the way. His sister's event had been in the planning for five years, and he and his loving father had already agreed trying to seek a wedding contract for himself was not a good idea. Prince Syrius had quirks, and it wasn't as though he needed to open himself up to ridicule from someone else, especially a spouse he would have to get to know. The event was only a week, and being a lot smaller than his older brothers, Syrius was used to not being seen. Until someone did see him. King Mintyn of Marinkaw had been a soldier since he was fifteen years old. He was not impressed to find out the one time of the year he was supposed to be meeting King Fortune to sign their Golden Straits agreement was apparently the one time his friend decided to have a huge event going on. However, his aide told him he had been invited, and it was only one ball. Mintyn could enjoy some good food, network a while, and then leave the following morning once the treaty was signed. That was until he saw a young vision being hassled by an entitled duke. On learning the vision being hassled was his friend's youngest son, Mintyn decided to intervene. It was the nice thing to do. One shortened dance later as Prince Syrius walked away from him after he put his foot in his mouth, Mintyn told his aide to rejiggle his schedule. He had a spouse to woo. This is one of those light stories that my muse weaves sometimes simply to make people smile. There are no deep and meaningful plot lines, just a bit fun between two men who look so unsuited for each other on the surface of things, but their pairing proves opposites do attract and stay together. It is in the same universe as the Infidelity Clause but is totally standalone (Don't laugh my lovely readers, it is honestly, standalone). Watch for cameo appearances by a cupcake eating dragon, an episode of prince throwing, and potato cuffs. This is an MM arranged marriage story with intimate situations described, along with strong language in places, and situations written for adults only. Please store your content responsibly.

A little concerned that he seemed to have skipped the Norn's notice when it came to getting a mate, Norse God Loki decided to embark on a path of self-discovery. He believed that the Norns hadn't put a mate in his path, yet, because he didn't know much about living as a mortal. So, in the interests of learning all he could about the human experience, and following a path many mortals did, Loki employed the services of a mortal therapist. And, sure enough, after following her directions, Loki found himself standing in front of his mate. Let the loving and fun times begin... Except, Anubis, Egyptian God of Mummification, Death, and Lost Souls, was having a few issues of his own. He wasn't about to reject Loki, he hadn't heard of him before, but he was too wound up in his own human experiences. They included a blond twink named Cooper, a nightclub with staff who didn't know their place, and concerns about what he'd learned regarding Osiris during his father's altercation with Seth. Nobody had ever worked out if fated gods could live without each other, but with everything going on around them, Anubis and Loki might have to see if it was possible. Loki would only take a certain amount of being ignored before he did what he did best - Being Loki. Being Loki is an MM paranormal romance story where Loki is described at one point as being something akin to an adorable puppy. I wouldn't write about him unless I could give him an HEA, but he and Anubis do have some fun working things out. This book is intended for adults only - please store your content responsibly. Can be read as standalone, but reading Odin's story (Special Enough) and Seth's Story (Reconciliation) will give you more depth about the backstories.

  • - Helios
    av Lisa Oliver
    286,-

Throughout the eons of time it was said that when it came to Fated Mates, the Fates never made a mistake. Could Helios and Bruno prove to be the exception to that rule? Ancient Greek God of the Sun, Helios might also be the God of Sight, but even he couldn't predict what would happen when he finally caught a glimpse of the light he'd been looking for - the one that let him know his search for his mate was over. The problem was when he chased up the source of that light, his intended one was on a date with someone else. Even when the date ended badly, Helios's efforts to help weren't appreciated. Bear shifter, Bruno Carpenter, was an ex-soldier, a current police officer, and on a date from hell. When he gets mugged he is shocked to feel his body responding to a male who suddenly appeared in the alley beside him. What was worse was that the same man started talking about them being mates. Bruno decided he must have been hit on the head harder than he thought. Unfortunately, the attack on Bruno was just part of a bigger picture - one that Helios could see thanks to his newly made Bruno App (thank you Zeus). But as Helios and Bruno spend time together, the chances of Helios having a future with the man the Fates deemed perfect for him get smaller and smaller. Is the mating of Helios and Bruno doomed to fail? Will they be the exception that proved the rule? And what does that saying even mean? Give Me A Reason is the thirteenth book in the Gods Made Me Do It series, but it can be read as a standalone.

Beau Lethe, one of the original Hellhounds created by Lord Hades, enjoyed his visit with packmate Java and his new mate well enough, but there was something tugging at his hound and soul sending him back to New York and within days of his return, he found out what it was - the sweetest little Arctic wolf shifter anyone could ever hope to meet, all wrapped up like a blanket burrito. The only issue was, Beau was sure his mate would reject him when he realized Beau wasn't like the other hellhounds. Prince Blue Watson insisted on everyone calling him Blue. His first name stemmed from his mother's dreams, not an actual title, and his real last name was unpronounceable. Sleeping rough for six years, mostly in his wolf form, Blue did his best to fend for himself on the city streets, swapping smiles for change from strangers. Until he smiled at the wrong person and ended up wrapped in a blanket and suspended from a ceiling. Even he had to admit things were looking a little dark, until he heard a sexy deep voice sitting at the table underneath him. Blue's mom had a lot to answer for, giving him such a misleading name, and Beau's got a few problems of his own between keeping his secrets from Lord Hades, and trying to keep his precious mate safe. Cops that aren't cops. A disappointed god. Parents with weird ideas. And let's not forget Jake, the grumpy bear. If Beau and Blue are to have an HEA, they are going to have to work with their friends to make it happen. Precious Blue can be read as standalone although reading Collar and Scruff (currently a free read on Your Book Boyfriend's Boyfriend giveaway 2022) and Better Than Sweets (Available on Amazon and wide) will help you get an understanding of the world and the back story of the hellhounds. Please note that while most of the plot lines in the story are resolved by the time you reach the epilogue, there is one short plot line that was introduced in the last few chapters that will be resolved in the following book. The epilogue also introduces the next hellhound in this series.

"I'm going... but I want a double whipped chocolate mocha with my lunch, and donuts with sprinkles, and because I'm going out, you'd better not let me down with my order." Damont Freeman, extinct shifter type, and owner of Ice Data Security was happy behind his computer screens. He didn't understand people and preferred to stay away from them. So when he gets convinced to attend a professional appointment in town he goes... with misgivings. Walking in on something no one should be doing in an office, Damont runs for it... if only he could run from his feelings just as easily. Rebel Jackson, shark shifter and business owner, might have been late for his appointment but that didn't mean he was going to let the coder run from him. The man smelled too good to let him get away. However, chasing him down wasn't as easy as just running after him. Damont could run real fast, and even when caught manages to wiggle out of Rebel's clutches. But the shark is on a mission and that means Catching Damont. The Quirk of Fates series is a compilation of stories where the only common theme is the unusual way Fated Mates cross each other's path.
