The overall purpose of the book is to provide indisputable evidence that we can know God as he makes Himself known to us and be divinely guided in this present world. Human interest incidents reveal God's tender concern for the home and its problems. My utmost desire is to encourage others to learn God's ways, and experience him in a very personal way. God can and wants to be a real part of everyone's life. As I share my journey through life, you may experience a spiritual journey yourself. I trust the lessons of my life are worth passing on to others. I seek answers to questions many of us ask ourselves. Does God want us to know Him in a real personal way? How do we find Him amidst a life of ups and downs? Is there Someone who cares enough to intervene in our every-day stuff? (Will He when we ask? Does God really want to be an intricate part of our life? How do we let Him) "Now I See" gives an eyewitness account of devastating experience that it seemed only God would bring me through. I try to make it clear that to know God is the greatest privilege and need in life. As you read this book, the intent is that you will also be able to say, "Now I See . . . God has a purpose for everything I encounter in life"Lynnie Lang is a caring individual who is willing to go above and beyond for others. and to assist people who have troubled souls and require encouragement. I set aside time each day for prayer, bible reading, and quiet time with GOD.

It all began when I finally desired quiet time in God's presence. He, being my Lord and Savior, gave me a need to hear encouragement and guidance from Him. Knowing I belong to my God, Jesus died for my sins and I am filled with His Spirit, gave me peace and confidence, but I felt there was more I needed. I longed to hear from Him. Was this really possible? How would I know it was Him? I would enter my prayer time as usual, with quiet meditation, praise and worship from my heart and lips. I'd then pick up my prayer journal for personal prayers, petitions and intercession for others. In my spirit I would, at times, receive words of affirmation during my prayer time, then when finished, be guided to pick up my pen and begin to write. I not only realized that God was giving me these words to write and encourage me with, but each one was always one page long. After almost a year, I began to transfer them to my computer. As I did, I was also given a title and a Scripture to go with each one. All I knew was this ability was definitely God given to me for His purpose. Soon I was realizing it wasn't all for me, I was prompted to share them, on occasion with others. This began a list of folks who wanted to receive them on a regular basis. The list continued to grow; and God continued to encourage me through others to write more, as He led me. What I thought was God speaking to me only, in reality, He is able to speak to others through a devotional simple folk like me put down on paper. I pray they will bless and encourage all who read them, as they have been for me. May this book always be a reminder to us that God is speaking, are you listening?Lynnie Lang is a lady from a small town with a big heart. She enjoys writing and inspiring others to fulfill their full potential in Christ. Born and raised in Rhode Island, her life's journey has taken her far beyond this small New England state. She is the mother of two adult children, the grandmother of six, the great grandmother of five, and has fostered many children over the years. Lynnie founded and served as the first president of the Warwick, Rhode Island Chapter of the Women's Aglow Fellowship, an international Christian women's organization. She spent most of her adult life as a nurse and also directed Living Waters Ministry, a home for women in addiction recovery in Orlando, Florida. She now lives in Saint Cloud, Florida, with her adoring service dog, Cody.
