In 2003 a British documentary team arrives in a small village in Andalucia. They are there to film the exhumations of a civil war mass grave from 1936 and to record the memories of relatives still living there. One of the bodies expected to be found is the father of Isabel. This is her story

Paris, 1937Tom Lancaster is recuperating from an attack in Spain where he saw his friend Bea murdered. When her father tells him that she is alive, and still in Madrid, he returns to the war torn capital to find her.

1941, MarseilleResistance operator, Tom Lancaster, is forced to flee France with a roll of film full of secrets, and a woman he barely knows. Meanwhile, in Paris, his girlfriend disappears, and her sister is desperately trying to find her. None of them realise that they are all playing their parts in a game controlled by the Germans.
