Die wissenschaftlichen Diskussionen der Geschichte Israels sind vor allem geprägt durch unterschiedliche Modelle zur Ansiedlung sowie zur Quellenlage der Monarchien im 10. und 9. Jahrhundert. The Mithras cult first became evident in Rome towards the end of the first century AD. During the next two centuries, it spread to the frontiers of the Western empire.
