This book presents a suite of eight original pieces for Violin and Piano by award-winning composer Margaret Brandman. The pieces are composed in the Latin-American music genre covering a range of dance styles including, Tango, Bossa Nova, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Argentinian Waltz, Bachata, Rhumba, and even Boogaloo. All the pieces are under five minutes in duration and crafted at a level suitable for advanced violin students. Each work is crafted to be a stand-alone piece. However, when played in the order presented in the book, the works form a unified suite suitable for senior school and tertiary institution recitals, and for professional performance. This combined edition contains both piano scores and individual violin parts, and performance notes provided by violinist Vov Dylan, who recorded the entire suite together with Margaret Brandman for a CD. The piano backing tracks for all the pieces are also available from Margaret Brandman's artist page on Gig-Alliance.
