This novel shows the many paths of life, the family of the author went through, startng with the Concentraton Camp of the father in Siberia, his escape, the dramas at home in Transylvania until life could gain the upper hand again. One unfortunate message however comes out of it : The history of war teaches us that it has never taught us.

An entrepreneur is the character suitable for migration; he neither faces material nor cultural losses, but rather looks forward to something new in his life, where he plays more of an important and creative role.
