"In Praise of Disappointment" is the 18th book of Mehdi Mousavi. This collection contains 120 poems and lyrics, mainly in the postmodern ghazal genre, and includes Mehdi Mousavi's poems from 2019 to 2023. The title refers to "In Praise of Folly" the prominent book of the Dutch philosopher "Erasmus" and in terms of content, includes romantic, social, philosophical, and political themes.
