Some twenty-five years later, the eight men then involved in neurological practice founded a professional association devoted to its further development. That founding generation and most of their immediate successors are no longer living but from the beginning they created Australian neurology has developed progressively, and its story and that of The Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists is now extended to the present day in this new edition of The Flowering of a Waratah.
