Hood 2 Good is a fictional but inspirational story about resilience, loyalty, survival, and encouragement. Unfortunately, life is harder and more challenging for some. The people in this story were exposed to dangerous, dire situations early in their lives because they grew up in a downtrodden area of the city. A Good Samaritan who was determined to live a better life never wavered from this goal. One day the Good Samaritan rescued two little girls from a horrendous situation. From that point on the Good Samaritan dedicated his life to making sure the girls grew up in a safe, clean comfortable home with peace of mind so they could elevate in life. This story has drama, violence, humor, and adult situations.

This book contains a litany of purposely hidden black history as it intertwines with police brutality along with some of the authors experience with police misconduct. It highlights policing from the inception of policing when police were called "paddy rollers" to present times. And recounting how police misconduct never ended.In order to seriously deal with police brutality like any other issue you have to go back to the origin of the problem and that's what this book does. It further details police involvement from the black codes to arresting newly freed slaves for the "convict leasing system" to the Black Wall Street tragedy and mass incarceration. Facts are also pointed out about police staying loyal to bad officers no matter how unethical they are via the "blue code of silence" while at the same time police have a slogan that states "if you see something, say something." It also explains how Christianity has played a role in police misconduct.
