Böcker av Richard Maduku

The author, Richard Happy Maduku had his formal education in Ozoro (his birthplace) and Ughelli. He fought in the Nigerian civil war as an Infantry man and retired as a Captain in 1990. His articles first appeared in SOJA (journal of the Nigerian Army) and latter in national newspapers. His first novel, Just Another Soldier, was written in 1987. He presently lives in Ughelli and EffurunOtor (his hometown) both in Delta State of Nigeria from where he continues to write.

Having lived in poverty most of his live, a young boy is left alone in the school premises when the outside world is in chaos. All thoughts steers towards the negative, but Richard Maduku rather ells the magnetic story of how Peter Kelezo, who in the midst of the raging war, lived in a world ofhis own where he enjoys the good things of life. War and kindness as a title implies, expresses the possibility of the coexistence of oxymoron.
