It all begins with the tragic murder of a whistleblower who has sought help from a struggling private investigator. As the PI, grief stricken by the death of his client, digs into the case, he becomes overwhelmed by the enormity of the mysterious organization known only as The Group. The playing field broadens as the PI's detective ex-wife, pastor son, and a retired federal agent are thrown into the mix. Rick Combs is an ordained minister, full time security officer, and part time customer service representative who resides in London, KY, with his wife, Berniece, who is a registered nurse. He's been blessed with three wonderful children, two wonderful grandchildren, and, at the time of this bio, another grandchild is on the way. The author makes a cameo appearance, in Chapter 8, as the security guard who slips a cryptic message to Stan and Simon. SEEKERS is his first full length novel to be published.
