We have a ton of cool stories that will inspire you and get you fired up to build this winter! In the last issue we gave you a glimpse of Amalgam's unbelievable scale replica's in our centerfold. In this issue we take a closer look at what it takes to turn out these big buck creations. You might be able to afford the $5,000.00 kit, but wouldn't be cool if you could? Next up is a feature on an amazing VW Camper that you have to see to believe. It ranges high on the "originality" scale! Then an old friend of mine Rodney Williams step up and asked if he could contribute some articles to Model Car Builder? Rodney is a nationally acclaimed airplane model builder who builds museum quality replicas that wins awards wherever he goes. He puts that same attention to detail in his model cars. I look forward to seeing more from Rodney. I had lined up another four page how-to article for the final pages of the magazine, but the writer pulled it at the last minute. So BIG SURPRISE: EVENTS COVERAGE! That's right, for the first time, and hopefully the last, we have events coverage from the local Goodguys car show. I don't like to do events coverage because we're a "how-to" magazine, but since this issue seems to have a life of its own I decided to fill the last minute pages with some of the more interesting models at the Goodguys Autumn Nationals. Build ups include Revell's new 1967 Camaro SS, and the re-issue of Monogram's Cherry Bomb. Plus more Web Tips!
