The world burns as Astyria's ambitions start becoming a reality across the globe, with the Orvud family now forced eastward with the hope that they can reach the Russian Far East and escape to Alaska somehow. The search for their missing cousin in Italy inadvertently puts the Orvud family at war with the Cipriani crime family, with little Henry Orvud caught up in the turmoil.
