O pensamento viajante faz uma viagem como experiência de investigação. Começa por desenvolver a ideia com vista à investigação, uma ideia que se condensa como conceito epistémico na medida em que a imagina como um objeto a compreender através da conceção de um projeto de investigação. Com a sociologia e a antropologia como companheiras de viagem inquisitiva, psicanalisa o observador e o observado para não destruir os dados e propõe um apoio multidisciplinar. Quando abre a teoria à prática da realização expositiva, o pensamento viajante adquire o rosto do pensamento poético, criativo. Ao caminhar consigo mesmo para se explicar a si próprio e ao mundo, tem de clarificar o assunto, especificar o problema a investigar e a sua exigência de uma solução concetual. Isso é garantido se ele construir bem (ética) o modelo paradigmático e der conta dele no fazer do caminho (método) com rigorosa argumentação. As várias narrativas envolvem géneros literários diferentes: a lenta investigação (análise) é seguida pela rápida conclusão demonstrativa (compreensão). Em suma, o projeto de investigação é pensado como um problema de explicação e é colocado perante o investigador para orientar a sua ação científica.

Travelling thought sets out on a journey as a research experience. It begins by developing the idea with a view to research, an idea that becomes condensed as an epistemic concept to the extent that it imagines it as an object to be understood via the design of a research project. With sociology and anthropology as companions on the inquisitive journey, he psychoanalyses the observer and the observed in order not to destroy the data, and proposes multidisciplinary support. The various narratives involve different literary genres: the slow inquiry (analysis) is followed by the quick demonstrative conclusion (understanding). In short, the research project is thought of as a problem of explanation and is placed before the researcher to guide his scientific action.
