The studies in the this booklet are the last in the Walking with God series. This is a practical course that uses bible study, teaching, worship, prayer and listening to God in order to seek His heart for a specific local community and then put into practice wqhat is heard. Through this practical engagement disciples will not only learn to obediently follow God's leading but also be challenged to share their faith as well as thoroughly test their spiritual gifts, skills and callings. This booklet contains all you will need to teach this course.

The Walking with God series of studies encourages disciples to dig deeper in building their personal relationship with God. This book contains all the teaching notes as well as lots of hints and tips for leading a small group through the second set of studies in the series - Walking with God in Relationship - Redeeming the Heart. The aim is , through Bible study and follow up home exercises, disciples find personal healing and spiritual freedom as well as understand what it means to be a whole-hearted follower of Jesus. It is hoped that as disciples enjoy gathering and growing together regularly they will want to carry on in their journey of discipleship by completing other Bible studies in the Walking with God series or other studies within New Beginnings Discipleship. The end-goal is that some will become effective disciple-makers themselves..

The aim is to build on the foundation already laid in previous studies by considering how to overcome the battle waging in our mind and emotions in order that we might walk meekly every day in submission and obedience to God. It is hoped that as disciples enjoy gathering and growing together regularly they will want to carry on in their journey of discipleship by completing other Bible studies in the Walking with God series. The end-goal is that some will become effective disciple-makers themselves.

For those working through New Beginnings Discipleship, the Baggage Checklist offers the individual an opportunity to talk and pray through any unresolved personal and spiritual 'baggage' that might otherwise prevent the person from making real progress in moving on in their relationship with God. This is done through a specially set aside prayer appointment or short series of appointments (depending on personal needs). The Baggage Checklist is the tool to facilitate this. An overview, hints and guidance for use in running these sessions is found in the companion Group Leader's Guide.

Just the Beginning is a tool to be placed in the hand of a new believer or Christian re-dedicating their life to Jesus. In easily manageable chapters it covers a basic introduction to the Christian life. Ideally used with the support of a mentor or in a small group. This Leader's Guide contains the outline, discussion pointers and/or teaching notes, hints and guidance for use in all the sessions. There is an accompanying participant's workbook also available from our web-site.
