Bain Brinley is sixteen and his future has never looked brighter. Moving to Loradin has been a huge positive, not only for him but his family as well. Bain has also discovered a few secrets located behind a waterfall in the Carpasian Mountains, which will very soon become important for the safety and wellbeing of the people of Zanchier. Bain, along with his family must fight to save Loradin and the innocent people of Zanchier as greedy, power hungry men try to destroy Zanchier, and one a personal note, his entire family.

In order to find the six pieces of armor, which had been stolen and separated hundreds of years before, they must overcome their own personal demons in tests of faith. These tests will try them, and possibly reveal even the darkest of secrets, emotions, and desires. If these trials can be overcome, the location of the next piece of armor will be revealed to them.Will they be able to overcome their own insecurities and imperfect human natures to accomplish the important tasks laid before them? All while they are constantly hunted by demons who wish to stop and destroy them any way possible.

Nicholas Turner and several others are at Prisca Delacroix's safe house on Barrier's Edge just outside of Grenoble, France. in the year 2018.
