The Statistical Yearbook provides a comprehensive compilation of internationally available statistics on social and economic conditions and activities, at world, regional and national levels, for an appropriate historical period.

In accordance with Article 102 of the Charter and the relevant General Assembly Resolutions, every treaty and international agreement registered or filed and recorded with the Secretariat since 1946 is published in the UN Treaty Series. At present, the collection includes about 30,000 treaties reproduced in their authentic languages.

Provides a summary of a selected number of government policies and programmes related to international migration. The report provides an overview of policies to govern regular migration and to address irregular migration, reviews an array of policy measures related to migrants' rights, and policies to foster the integration of migrants.

Presents most recent data on population size (total, male and female) from the latest available census of the population, national official population estimates and the number and rate (births, deaths and infant deaths) for the latest available year within the past 15 years. This report also presents United Nations estimates of the mid-year population of the world, and its major areas and regions.
